About This Story

The Unwilling World (working title) is a philosophical science fiction novel about a young man born omnipotent, who wagers his own divinity to reclaim the one thing that absolute power can never grant him: a world that refuses to bend to his will.

Three volumes are planned. Volume One is titled the same as the series; Volume Two, The Unwilling Garden; Volume Three, The One-Way Door.

A Note on the Translation

This is a Japanese web novel, written and serialized first in Japanese. English translation is a work in progress — currently, Chapter One is available in English, with more chapters to follow as they're translated.
